Introductory Consulation.
After practicing in the Elgin area for 32 years, Glen T.
Dobosz has opened his own law office with daughter Dana
N. Dobosz. Glen concentrates his practice in
individual and business tax planning, including return
preparation, estate and gift tax planning, drafting
wills and trusts, estate and trust administrations, IRS
audits, and the day to day business issues which arise
for small, medium, and large business owners. Glen is
both an attorney and certified public accountant.
He has been selected by his peers as a Leading Lawyer in
individual tax law. Glen also holds an AV rating, the
highest accolade in Martindale-Hubbell. An AV rating
signifies that his legal abilities are of the very
highest standard and that his professional ethics are
unquestioned. Glen also teaches taxation at Elgin
Community College in the paralegal program. Dana has
returned home to practice law with her father after
graduating from Valparaiso University School of Law.
While studying at Valparaiso, she was on the negotiation
team and was a student lawyer for the Valparaiso
University School of Law’s legal civil clinic. She has
attended the nationally recognized Heckerling Tax
Institute in Orlando. Dana is a member of the Illinois
Bar Association, Kane County Bar Association, Dynamic
Professional Women’s network (the Elgin/South Elgin
chapter), and anticipates becoming a member of the Elgin
chapter of Women in Management this fall. Dana intends
to expand the practice to include real estate and
litigation. Glen brings his many years of
experience, and Dana brings an updated fresh and
technological approach to the practice. Both
father and daughter pride themselves by providing
skilled and unique service to their clients. Not only do
they have the necessary expertise and resources, but
they strive to know each and every one of their clients
on a personal level.
